News and Advertising deadlines:
Eastern Wake News deadlines for photos and news articles, including church and club news, is Fridays by 5 p.m. for the next week's newspaper. The deadline for classified ads is 11 a.m. on Mondays while the deadline for display ads is noon on Fridays.
For display advertising, call 269-6101. To place a classified ad, call 269-3552.
Submissions of news announcements or community events should be typed or legibly handwritten and mailed to: Eastern Wake News, P.O. Box 1167, Zebulon, NC, 27597; or faxed to 269-8383. One can also email items to Johnny Whitfield For questions about news or to suggest a story, call 266-6811 or 365-6262 or 269-6101.
Letters to the Editor should be limited to 350 words (about the length of a typed sheet of paper) or be subject to editing at the staff's
discretion. Letters must be accompanied by the writer's name, address and
phone number, although neither the address or phone number will appear in
print. We will not accept unsigned letters nor letters containing libelous statements. Letters should be typed or legibly handwritten and mailed to: Eastern Wake News, PO Box 1167, Zebulon, NC, 27597, or brought to the office at 110 N. Arendell Ave., Zebulon.

reserves the right to republish the submission in any format.
